Vanessa Lawless is a vibrant singer-songwriter from the Northern Rivers of NSW, Australia, known for her dynamic vocals and charismatic presence. Vanessa creates her own blend of soul, RnB, pop, folk, blues, jazz and funk to create a genre-defying sound that captivates the ear.After studying music at TAFE, exploring songwriting and playing local gigs in her hometown of Grafton, Vanessa took time to pursue a journey in entertainment management, healing, and personal growth in other locations. Throughout this time, she continued writing original songs inspired by life experiences, gradually regaining the confidence to perform. Her return to the stage, starting with open mics on the Gold Coast, allowed her voice and artistry to flourish once again, leading to the release of seven singles and her first album in progress.Combining her creative talents with her passion for personal development, Vanessa now offers one-on-one songwriting sessions and collaborative projects. She also performs live as part of a new acoustic duo, bringing soulful, authentic connection to every audience.
